For more than 100 years, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity has been the leading historically African American fraternity with a focus on honorable achievement in every field of human endeavor and encouraging compassionate service in our communities. The Houston (TX) Alumni Chapter, which was chartered in 1928, prides itself in upholding the values of our fraternity’s founders. Our founders were God-fearing, disciplined, honorable men who were driven collectively to achieve with a common purpose, dream, ambition, courage, and determination to create their own paths in the pursuit of obtaining a college education and mastery in subsequent professional careers.

The Legendary Houston (TX) Alumni Chapter is the largest chapter within the Southwestern Province, which is the largest province of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. We take pride in being the largest Chapter within Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Our vision is to continue to forge a path of legendary status and to lead the way in the pursuit of achievement for the betterment of mankind.
